Probably the best Wi-Fi access point for the money. Great for expanding Wi-Fi coverage in your home (my review).

Ubiquiti Access Points are the standard for home Wi-Fi access points.

The best range extender for most people as recommended in my buyer’s guide.

A great choice for solid Wi-Fi throughout your home. It has Zigbee and Alexa built-in and supports Wi-Fi 6.

One of the recommended mesh routers in my buyer’s guide. It also has Google Assistant built-in.

A good budget mesh system if you just want solid and fast Wi-Fi throughout your home.

This is the hardware I installed pfSense on in my home. It easily supports my gigabit Internet connection and my home lab.

This itty bitty pfSense powered router is plenty powerful for most people and has tons of features.

I have multiple 5 and 8 port versions of this switch in my home. Been rock solid for years, as a switch should be!

If you are looking for a good entry-level smart switch you can’t do much better. It features Power over Ethernet (PoE) as well. I have one in my house.

I used this to add a gigabit Ethernet connection to the NUC powering my home lab. Works well with my Chromebook too.
