A great choice for solid Wi-Fi throughout your home. It has Zigbee and Alexa built-in and supports Wi-Fi 6.

A good budget mesh system if you just want solid and fast Wi-Fi throughout your home.


This is the hardware I installed pfSense on in my home. It easily supports my gigabit Internet connection and my home lab.

This itty bitty pfSense powered router is plenty powerful for most people and has tons of features.

I use a less expensive version of this cellular modem to provide cellular backup Internet to my home.


I have multiple 5 and 8 port versions of this switch in my home. Been rock solid for years, as a switch should be!

If you are looking for a good entry-level managed switch you can’t do much better. It also works with the Omada SDN Controller. I have one in my house.

Inexpensive but reliable 24-port small footprint desktop switch that I’ve relied on for years.
