Smart Thermostat Recommendations
The thermostats below can work without a c-wire. Some may require a c-wire adapter to work. Make sure your heating and cooling systems are compatible with the thermostat you want to buy before making a purchase. The thermostats recommended below are compatible with 80-95% of all systems.
Here’s a full review and installation walk-through of the Ecobee Lite, which is the smart thermostat I have in my house. It is very similar to the Ecobee SmartThermostat listed below, except it has Alexa built-in. The Ecobee SmartThermostat will also work with Amazon and Google ecosystems.
